Diagnostic Medicine Program

The Diagnostic Medicine program incorporates a four year sequence, initiating in the 9th grade and continuing through 12th grade. The program enables students to develop skills in diagnostic medical imaging, medical laboratory testing, and patient diagnostic procedures. Students in the Diagnostic Medicine program will participate in hands-on instruction in methods practiced in diagnostic medical careers. Students will also participate in internships and externships through CRYMA partnerships in 11th and 12th grade. The Diagnostic Medicine program will help students successfully master the required skills essential to the industry and college.

The Diagnostic Medicine program provides the necessary education to successfully complete industry-standard certification exams. Students will be prepared for various diagnostic medical certifications during their senior year, positioning them for careers in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories.
